Is there a difference between H.264 Mpeg-4/AVC and H.264 Mkv? Both played smooth on my Lenovo Q180 in XBMC Eden. After I upgraded to Pre-Frodo alpha 5, H.264 Mpeg-4/AVC movies now stutter/lag on playback. Mkv files that are encoded H.264 continue to play smoothly. I added the advanced setting skiploopfilter, and set it to the max (48), but it only helped a little. I've also tried every combination of XBMC and AMD CCC settings, to no avail.
Any ideas? I'll post a log file when I get a chance. Thanks!

Forgot to say that the problem movies play fine on the Lenovo Q180 using the VLC media player.
In the audio setup in XBMC, I have the audio output device and the passthrough device set to WASAPI: SP-DIF - Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio)

Issue fixed - try a nightly build.
System: XBMC HTPC with HDMI WASAPI & AudioEngine - Denon AVR-3808CI - Denon DVD-5900 Universal Player - Denon DCM-27 CD-Changer
- Sony BDP-S580 Blu-Ray - X-Box 360 - Android tablet wireless remote - 7.1 Streem/Axiom/Velodyne Surround System
If I have been able to help feel free to add to my reputation +/- below - thanks!
