New Aeon Nox crashing?
#61
FYI all, for those on OpenElec try downgrading back to beta 7 (1.95.7) - this, combined with Aeon Nox 3.6.1, resolved the lockups I was having.
#62
of course...

Since my original post, Aeon hasn't crashed once. So typical. No lockups of Aeon since since 2012-10-06 16:43.

Hi,

I have also been experiencing frequent freezes in 3.6.1
I will paste the logs when it happens.

The most frequent freeze happens to me when I try to delete a series that I just watched. As soon as I hit delete it often freezes on me. I will provide the log the next time it happens.

Just now it froze when I was running the radio addon as it was loading the visualization. Here is the log:

The music keeps playing but the screen froze and does not respond.

Thanks

have you tried disabling the next aired addon?
#65
disabled now - will let you know how it goes.

Same here,

my Setup is Openelec Eden and I´m a big fan of your Skin, more than anything else, all the sadder that I can no longer use it.
I get a Freeze when i use the Context Menu in TV Shows. It is a fresh install of Openelec.
All other Skins are working.

I hope that a solution will be found soon, otherwise I have to use a different skin, which I do not want.

constant crashes with the config in my signature. Switched to a Confluence modded skin which is very fast and reliable, but aeon nox is my first choice. Hope the crashes and freezing will be fixed :/

Maybe I found the problem. You have mouse enabled, thats why it's hard to spot because I don't use it. Could you try to unpack the 1080i folder to your skin.aeon.nox folder overwriting the old files from this zip? After that a restart of XBMC is needed.

Yes I do have mouse enabled. I'll give it a try. What exactly did you change that you think would fix it?

Well, I already got it to crash backing out to the home screen. Screen went black, had to restart the computer. Sad

I enabled TV Next Aired though. Is there a problem with that script or should it work fine with 3.6.1?

for me it works fine, but testing without any scripts/services is always worth a try. the crash you´re experiencing seems to be connected to somethinig else though (you´re havin some graphics-related errors if i remember correctly, i doubt that we can fix that)
