So i have recently received the above unit for testing as a new XBMC box but wanted to know how well it would work out.

so the two question are will this box work well with XBMC and should it be XBMC on top of OSX or would xbmcbuntu be a better option?

This is going to be hooked up to my TV and will not really need to be a computer as i have a laptop for any needs like that.

Due to OSX limitations in the audio drivers, I would suggest a Linux-based option (XBMCbuntu is Linux-based).
