I have a number of video files that wont play on openELEC, there where 2 files i created on a PVR, one after the other with the same settings, once plays the other one doesnt. How this shows is, when i select the file i hear sound but the main menu doesn't change to the playing file. If i then "full screen" it its black, when i stop that playing (from the black screen) generally XBMC has crashed as the clock never moves and the menu is gone (background only).
The shares still work though and the drive light still flashes, so its only the front end that's crashed. All the above files do have a screen shot though when i select the movie and they all play in Windows under VLC
This has happened to quiet a few files, *.MOV, *.AVI, i did load the MPG2 and VC1 licenses on to the RPI (cant confirm they are working though as SSH doesnt work in the current build of XBMC in openELEC), any ideas?
