Ok so I'm New at this, I discovered the ability to "download a movie" in XBMC My question is Where is the downloaded movie stored ? I've checked my computer drives and I can't see the movie anywhere and I know that the Apple doesn't have that much storage room. can anybody clue me in?

Not sure that I follow where you are going with this, might be better suited in the IOS sub forum, but that being said you may also want to brush up on the policy the community has on "obtaining stuff" hate to say it but that could also be a factor in the lack of replies.

The reason for the inquiry is to find where the file is stored so that I might be able to dump it to a dvd/cd etc.

Depends on what downloaded the file. I'm guessing it's an add-on, and I'm guessing it's something like IceFilms. If it's IceFilms, 1Channel, or Navi-x, then you would need to go to the unofficial xbmchub.com for those.
