Android Playing DVD-VOB-IFO Library FROM SMB
#1
Ok, first let me warn that while I am very 1990's computer savy I am a newbie to 2010 technology including xbmc, android and all this awesome stuff

I went out and purchased an android pc and have loaded xbmc and I am getting a bit familar. (Woo hoo to me! xbmc is my new favorite thing in the world)

Here is my issue:
- I have a lot of my personal DVDs ripped to IFO-VOB on my Windows SMB Share
- I can add them to the library fine and they show up but they error (or do nothing) when I try to play them
- I can play them on xbmc from the smb share in file view fine
- I can add them to the library and play them if I connect a external USB harddrive (so I think its the smb share causing the issue)
- All other media types play well and work when I add them to the library from the smb file, only DVDs do not play
- The path in the library points to the IFO file out of all the files in the VIDEO_TS , not sure if that helps and is normal

I think the smb path to the IFO maybe is throwing off things? Is there some known issue adding DVDs to the library over Windows SMB?

Any suggestions on if this isnt every going to work, or not a good idea?

Thanks in advance, Roess

In fact, you should click on key C then play when you point to a DVD's folder.
But i have navigation issue, any idea when it will be resolved?
