xbmc crashing on openelec
#1
I have recently got my raspberry pi got it all set up etc. I followed a guide and set up the config file etc also i have overclocked the cpu to modest settings

arm_freq = 850
core_freq = 325
sdram = 425
over_voltage = 2

And i seem to be getting a few crash problems. Has anyone experienced this before with them settings?? Or does anyone know of decent settings i should use in config??

Also i did not change turbo_charge.

One last thing is i changed the below and noticed its still quite small on screen when using gui
Please check settings and see if ok

# Make display smaller to stop text spilling off the screen
overscan_scale=1 # http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewto...67&t=15700
disable_overscan=1
overscan_left=57
overscan_right=59
overscan_top=20
overscan_bottom=20

In fact it would be a lot easier if i post my config.txt file http://pastebin.com/7Bcj6md8

please have a look and see if i can make changes to stop crashes. Thanks guys

Ok i have changed the over_voltage to 0 and seems a lot more stable

Could anyone optimize the above settings for config.txt and optimize the below as im having issues with screen fit etc. Thanks

overscan_scale=1 # http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewto...67&t=15700
disable_overscan=1
