Hello,

I have an issue with xbmc 12 rc3.

All my mkv and dvd iso make xbmc freeze. My researches:

If i check dolby compatibility on anf if the movie/tv show has dolby->freeze/crash on play.

If i check dts and movie/tv show has dts->freeze/crash too.

Same thing for aac and lpcm.

Then if i uncheck all compatibilities it freezes/crashes too

BUT if i uncheck all AND set my speakers to 2.0 instead of 5.1, xbmc does not freeze/crash.

This is very strange and not satisfaying at all as i have a 5.1 home theater and everything worked very well under xbmc 11 final.

So can some can help?

Will this be fixed in a new rc or in final version?

Have a look at the sticky at the top of this section - re audio set-up, a thorough read and some testing with the various audio settings, might help with any issues.
