It seems like the latest AMD Drivers are responsible. Any guess why is that?

Same is true for me. Yesterday I installed Frodo RC3 on my HTPC.
Frodo says i get about 13 fps in the UI which makes navigating a pain.
I use an Atom D525 CPU and AMD 5430 GPU with latest drivers and Win8/64bit.
How can this problem be solved??

Downgrade the AMD drivers, I have found 11.4 and 12.3 to work well.
