Guys, can anyone tell me if is possible to reinstall XBMC back to its original state? A certain (channel) plugin was playing up and i thought fixes in XBMC Maintenance would help but it has only made things worse. That plugin is useless now and its where i watch TV Series and some Movies.

I have only been using XBMC a short time so can rebuild it quite easily. But after uninstalling and re-installing the previous the changes i wrongly made are still in effect!


Basically i want to erase all XBMC settings/history from my PC and re-install a clean version that hasnt been interfered with by an idiot!!


Thanks for your patience (I have searched to no avail and read Manual but this doesnt appear to have been covered, most people are complaining about XBMC reverting to default and them losing their settings)

Try erasing your guisettings.xml file located in your userdata (wiki) directory. If that doesn't do the trick, then erase the entire userdata (wiki) directory.
