For a couple of weeks i'm suddenly experiencing crashes when playing HD content with my my Apple TV2. It worked fine before. I tried everything that is mentioned in the trouble shooting FAQ without success. Any help will be very welcome!

I may have the same problem. Eden worked well for about a year, and started crashing for no reasons. No system modification was done, I.e., no new add on, etc.

Upgraded to frodo and it is worse. Completely removed frodo including user content and reinstalled fro do, but fro do still crashes with 720 content.

Mine does not generate crash log though.

Could this be a hardware problem? My atv2 is about 13 months old.

See you got DTS pass through enabled, but AC3 disabled. Could you try enabling pass through for AC3 aswell and check if you got the same issue?
Also, a mediainfo would be nice Wink

This is not the complete debug log. Right? A debug log should not be cut..

Hi Eliah, your remark made me play with the audio settings some more and I seemed to finally solved the problem by setting speaker configuration to 2.0 Smile .. Is this a known bug?

Olivier

And its no general problem ( i don't have problems and my speakers are setup to 5.1).

I was able to reproduce it before if I switched back to 5.1 but somehow when I set it to 5.0 it's gone ... No crashes anymore with DTS en AC3 enabled and 5.1 speaker setup.
