Live TV does not work on one machine
#1
Hi,

I've got multiple XBMC setups at home, all running 12.1 Frodo. I'm using Media Portal TV server as a LiveTV backend and this works very well for the most part, except on one of my machines, which is running Windows 7. (The other ones are two Win8 pcs, one Raspberry Pi with OpenELEC and 3 iOS devices).

On this Win7 machine when I try to start watching LiveTV, it will show a frozen video briefly and be stuck at "buffering ... 7%" for a while, then it will just stop. If I try to start it again, nothing happens at all. Previously, restarting the PC did the trick but recently that won't even work. LiveTV just does not work anymore on this machine.

Here's a snippet from the log:

Note that the network share which contains the timeshiftbuffer (\\SERVER\Raid5array1\TVServer\TimeshiftBuffer\live2-0.ts.tsbuffer) is accessible from the machine and I can browse to the file and play it using MediaPlayer on the machine, so that's not the problem.

Error creating demuxer - what could cause that?

Like I said, this works well on all the other XBMC setups I have.

Any ideas?
