I have discovered in a lot of plugins cacheToDisc is not working a lot of the time after starting, or playing a video.

Seems fairly easy to reproduce with the TWiT add-on. Start the add-on, select a show, select a video, 'tab' back to the plugin directory.

When it fails you'll find something like this in the log -

ERROR: Control 504 in window 10025 has been asked to focus, but it can't

Then you'll see the plugin run again to load the directory.

The first attempt to reproduce fails, everything works as it should. On the second try, you see the error and the plugin runs again.

Doesn't seem to be a problem with Eden.
