It does not look like a remote specific problem.
Have you checked to see if something else is running on the webserver ports?

So no luck....I even un-installed then re-installed XBMC 12.1 Frodo and the XBMC Remote/Yatse apps.
Here is how my connection is set up.
From the modem my connection goes to a standard router up stairs. This router is plugged into a powerline connector and the HTPC is plugged into another powerline connector down stairs. Internet and connections speeds are perfectly fine using these so I know it's not just a slow connection problem.
There is a seperate wifi router hooked to the router upstairs and that is how I get my wifi signal for my tablet. The tablet has no connection issues so I know that's not the problem. I have changed all the settings in XBMC and the Apps just the way they are shown in these various threads and still no luck. I tried port 1337 and a whole slew of other numbers with no difference in results. I tried with and without usernames and password with no luck. I also installed iTunes as I was told Apple Bonjour needs to be running in order for this to work (well for Yatse anyways). I am not getting the "Webserver Failed" message anymore but the remote just will not connect. I had it working fine back with Eden but now it just will not connect for anything in the world.
I can provide screenshots if this will help. I'm willing to try anything at this point.
Sorry for slow responses but I am currently working overseas and there is a 12hr time difference between me and the East coast.
