when scrolling through my movies library I can only go so far until it resets the apple tv 2. This makes it very difficult to play movies on this skin. I can't even get through 10 movies in slide view before the system crashes

Can I remove all fanart to make the system respond better or is there another way so that I can scroll through my movies library without the apple tv crashing. I have around 1500 movies.

Should I change to a skin that works better with the apple tv?

I am missing quite some information in your bugreport to make an actual statement.

Version of Neon you are running, version of XBMC, where you have you data stored, if you use MySQL or not, and a debug log (wiki)

I'm running the newest frodo version of neon and frodo (12.1) and my data is stored in my computer and comes wirelessly over SMB. I don't think I'm using MySQL and im not sure what a debug log is , sorry

I've been using it on an ATV2 since they first came out. I'm pretty sure it isn't a skin issue unless you are using Frodo - I haven't tested on there yet, but there shouldn't be any major issues there either.

You are using Neon version 2.5.1 which is not Frodo compatible. It was added in february 2012 to the Eden repo's.
Get the latest version as explained here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=152990

It's still crashing when I go into movies and start scrolling. Also my logos are missing for my tv shows

Just to be clear, have you tested that your aTV is not crashing when doing the same thing with any other skin ?

Oh it is not just a neon thing! It does seem to be crashing on other skins too

Try reducing the thumbnail size by adding this in advancedsettings.xml
