I have been using xbmc for a while now, mostly for movies, i happened upon something about music that mentioned foobar sounded better, so i tried it and sure enough music sounds a bit more alive with foobar, as far as i can tell no enhancements are running on foobar, and im listening at the same volume, my son without any prompting said the same, i cant understand why that would be, im wondering if there are some settings in xbmc that i should adjust?, im using the wasapi setting to my denon avr, everything seems to work properly. Even turning up the volume when using xbmc doesn't seem to give it the same feel. It could easily be foobar that is adding something to the music creating a bias, i did turn off the gain, i havent tried any other media player yet, has anyone else noticed anything similar?
