I want my automation system to be able to pause xmbc video playback when a sensor is activated.

How do I send a command to xmbc?

If I specify where xmbc is ie

C:/program files 86/xmbc/xmbc.exe

Then argument

Play

Will that do it? As not working for me....

Try sending keypress 'P' or 'Space'

You'll probably need something like Eventghost to send the command to XBMC
