WMC as the backend - released
(2013-11-15, 16:30)svanhess Wrote: Yeah I'm guessing that my upgrade to Mavericks a couple of weeks ago caused this. It looks like we should probably stay away from OS X 10.9 until all the issues are sorted out.

I'm loading up a 10.8 VM and will rebuild the 1013 packages. Thanks b_pritchard for helping test this out!

Awesome Svanhess!

The EPG Timeline is not showing sub channels. All other EPG schedules show sub channels just fine. Has anyone else seen this issue?

Is there a place to create tickets?

All,

TheImmortal found out yesterday that the newest nightlies for gotham have broken the pvr.wmc addon, this seems to be due to a change in the pvr gotham interface. Since we have some minor stuff to change in the client, we are going to wait before we address these gotham changes so that we can do them all together. The newest gotham monthly should work until then.

I got it, thanks. The audio stream is AAC which causes the remuxer to fail in the released version of the server, this has been fixed and it will be out in the next release. The weird thing is why it worked for you before... Anyway, the new release will be out soon.

I see subchannel numbers in the epg timeline.

Is there a new update of the WMC PVR addon since 0.1.9 of the addon? Server need version info btw so we know what version of server that we have.

Any way to troubleshoot the channel issue?

That is still the most current version for the frodo addon.

The server version can be seen on the debug tab.

I see the same channel info on the channels list as I do in the epg guide, running confluence. What skin are you using? In the server on the 'channels' tab you can embed the number of the channel into the channel name is that turned on? I use the default: {1}/{0}. Maybe post a screenshot?

My fault, I didn't understand what you were asking, I still don't in fact. When you said 'all other EPG schedules show the sub channels' what are the other schedules you are referring to? And specifically what is the into you want displayed in the timeline? Can you give an example?

Thank you this is great.

I am looking forward to the flat file structure.

Just look at the time line and compare it to the channel listing. Channels 4.2, 7.2, 7.3, 9.2 are all missing in the timeline. In addition 13.2, 13.3, 16.2 and a bunch of other sub channels.

Can we get our own sub forum? It is really getting hard keeping track of everything that is going on in this thread, especially when people make reference to a post yet don't quote it. Please if you are commenting on another post PLEASE quote that post.

My eyes weren't good enough, but now that I squint I can see what you are talking about. That's weird. I can't see how it can be what the addon is doing, it just fetches the schedule entries that xbmc asks for. Even the auto channel numbering that xbmc uses is skipping values.... check the settings for live-tv in xbmc, in particular change 'use backend channel numbers'

In the early days of this thread a user requested our own sub thread, but one of the x-men said that since this software was underdevelopment (or not official - can't recall) it couldn't get its own section. I'm not sure whether they still feel that way. I agree with you though, this thread is unmanageable (looking forward to getting 100k views though).

Time to unbox the ps4...

Hi Krusty,

Thanks for your help getting me setup. This is AWESOME!

I'm having a problem though, that I'm not sure how to fix.

When I watch live tv, I have surround sound. When I play recordings back, I have surround sound.

But when I try to convert the files, all video editors seem to think the files only contain 2.0 audio.

Any ideas?
