I've found the main menu customizer to be quite limited, specifically the Exchange Position command. Having to manually bubble sort each item one place at a time just isn't practical. So I'd just like to do it manually. I've looked around for any clues but everything I've found seems to be outdated/incorrect.

1. Where are the main menu items stored?
2. Where is the main menu item order stored?
3. How do I add items to the main menu?
4. Is there a way to add more than 5 subitems to a menu item?
