Hi,
I have recently come across a problem with 7.1 trueHD encoded MKV's. I get a sound pop constantly. My system is only 5.1 but MasterHd 7.1 works just fine. I have tried this with Star Trek Into Darkness and Monsters University. Has anyone else come across this problem?
System Win7x64.... audio passthrough to Pioneer amp via hdmi then onto pioneer krp600-m. I have tried all different Audio configurations under system settings, but with no joy

Do you have "Sync playback to display" enabled? and if so what sync method?

Please provide a debug log_file (wiki) of you playing a problem file and also a screenshot of your audio settings.

No I don't have syn enabled and audio settings are fine. This is only happening on TrueHD with 7.1 audio. Master HD with 7.1 plays fine. I was wondering perhaps that it could be an encoding issue with MakeMKV. Will try and post a loh-file later tonight
