The best Android XBMC / Kodi boxes
Quote:Hands down the best box is the OUYA console.
I'd disagree with this. I've tried OUYA, but as far as Android-based boxes go, best one I've tried to date is Amazon's Fire TV. I expect Google's upcoming Android TV boxes to be even better.

I've tried the Ouya as well, and it has forever turned me off using Android for XBMC.

Both support H.265 as both rely on Amlogic's S802 chip. If you're going to get a S802-based box now, Minix's X8 is probably a better bet due to better firmware support. If H.265 isn't a must, then I'd either get a Fire TV if you need a box now, or wait for Google's Android TV boxes expected later this year.

For the record, s802 does not support h265, only s812/s805 does.
And XBMC does not support h265 on amlogic, yet.
