I am using the WMC PVR backend. and I have noticed a change in behavior in recent Gotham builds.

While the Gotham build from Nov 18th works well, recent Gotham builds suffer from extremely laggy playback when watchin livetv. If you select the channel the initial playback is correct but within a few minutes, the playback become extremely laggy with frames only updaating every few seconds.

I have attached a current debug log. My HTPC is based on a quad core Athlon X2 with 4Gb memory running win7 32bit with a 7770 graphics card.

If I reinstall the Gotham build from Nov the problem goes away. I have a solution, I jsut want to report the problem incase it is helpful.

Maybe something has changed in pvr.wmc addon?

Using the same version of the PVR.WMC addin.. For the Nov 18th version, I have to manually add the addon. WIth the current nightlies, it is available as a regular addon. I have discussed the issue with the developer and beleive it is a bug. I have createrd a bug report.
