Upgrade to Frodo 12.3
#1
Hi There

Apologies if I have posted this thread incorrectly - I am a first timer.

I have a Sumvision Cyclone Nano (an Android box) which has Frodo 12.0 installed. I would like to install the latest 12.3 update but despite looking for a number of hours I can't find a description of the process for doing this.

I have downloaded the 12.3 .apk update but I don't know how to install it. When I put the box into 'update' mode it expects a *.img file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

John Taylor

I would assume he doesn't want to flash it with linux if he's posting in the Android help forum.

Put the APK on a USB stick or on a SD card into your machine. Then use the File Browser to navigate to that location and double click on the APK file. This will allow it to install. If it fails, use the built in App Installer to navigate to the APK and install it.

As a side note, if you are going to upgrade your box, why not use the latext Gotham version? You will be much happier with the Gotham version then the Frodo version.
