I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Seems like it's been months, and this is the first forum with issues freezing and resetting.
Mine does what Riley1 does too. SOMETIMES, the file keeps playing, but it has a frozen video. The timer will either keep moving and/or sometimes there is audio. Usually, it's just dead. If I unplug the drive, it will dismount and kick me back to the start of either XBMC or Ouya. I get the freeze on ALL video. It doesn't matter what type or size. If it's longer than 10 mins, it's toast.
**I think I'm going to go ahead and move away from Android now. Like 80 posts and hours of research without resolution. Time for a new platform. :\

Yes, this issue really is shitty.. can't imagine that this problem can't be solved.
If this keeps going on, i will flush the android box trough my toilet, and look for a better (non-freeze) one.

O Dear ok first off can you please post a log. Start a film and when it starts playing up please stop the film and then upload a log. Once you've do that can you please try disabling both H/W Accel modules and select Software decoder and also multi thread as well and see what happens when you play the film again.
