Solved HD videos stutter
#1
Hey

I read the Faq and tried everything that it suggests but nothing happens, the .mkv videos still stutter, SD videos play just fine. Could this be some kind of codec problem or what this could be?
This happened after I installed a fresh copy of Windows and XBMC before this everything worked just fine.

If you're using AMD hardware then it's worth taking a look at this: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=192225 but also do follow nickr's advice above.
Please read the online manual (wiki) & FAQ (wiki) before posting.

I'm not sure how you connected your HTPC. You can try Analog 2.0 in XBMC audio output...

You need to make sure that Windows is up to date and you can install the latest Nvidia driver from here- Option 2: Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products....

You can try to select Analog for audio output with 2.0 channel speaker configuration in XBMC audio output as shown below...
