i've read that being able to use skype on xbmc can never happen, but is it posible just to see the caller-id pop-up when you recieve an incoming call?

you do it easily if you were willing to leave your pc running aswell, the skype api is well documented

Hi, I have just written an App to enable this for myself, so thought I'd share.

It's called Skype2YAC and basically solves the problem by sending incoming caller ID information from Skype to the YAC program. You can then use the existing script to display YAC caller ID on XBMC. (at xbmcscripts.com)

Can someone help I have been googling for 2 days now and have found nothing.

Only mention of a program called Skype2Yac which has dead download links everywhere.

Any way for me to get this to work or any help would be appreciated.
