Raspberry pi or this?

Hi, I've been wondering whether I should get a raspberry pi, or the following build AMD APU Build:

AMD Athlon 5150: 55$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6819113365

ASRock AM1B-ITX AM1 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 HDMI Mini ITX AMD Motherboard : 29.99$ (Combo^) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6813157490

Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 2GB : 24$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6820226284

Sandisk Extreme 16gb (To install XBMCBuntu to): 25$ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...12K1097569

M350 Enclosure with AC Adapter and PICO PSU: 70$ http://www.mini-box.com/M350-enclosure-w...0W-adapter

I'm looking to use XBMCBuntu with if I get the MINI ITX. I don't need this for high bitrate, only to stream some shows through XBMC; Max quality I will probably use is YIFY quality. What do you guys recommend? Won't be using it for personal library just streaming from add-ons etc..

The PI will work, had one for a while. Played 720p and YIFY videos fine from a NAS. Did not try any add-ons.
However, it is a bit slow while selecting the menu options. Nothing beats the PI price as far as I know though.

Yes, you can also buy one or even a barebone, prices vary from $180-$300, depending on your hardware.
Personally I like the Zotac Zbox, I am on my 3rd Zotac HTPC.
Asus Chromebox looks like a good option as well.
I am also eyeing the Fire TV for my next one
AFTV (non-rooted + Kodi)
WD My Book Live NAS

I use a cheap Chinese celeron 1037u pc, small like the nuc, and is plenty fast for openelec. Cost me $125 for the pc delivered, and since I already had the IR+remote setup I only needed ram (2gb used $15) and a msata drive (30gb used $32)... Works amazingly well, even the addons. I dual booted openelec with windows 8.1 and haven't had any trouble yet.

The Pi will work great for most HD content... Not so much for the interface, live tv or anything CPU intensive.

Would the above computer even run XBMC Smoothly? How well would it run? Never used/heard of AM1, so just curious.

I would do this deal. If you can find the places you get them from, it's a great deal.

The PC came from inctel on aliexpress, the other stuff was from ebay

Only regret is that I didn't do 4gb ram for windows, 2gb is a bit small for it...openelec works great with it tho.

Unfortunately, I think I may need a device with thunderbolt/Displayport, since my Korean monitor is 2560x1440, and uses DVI Dual Link.. Are there any of these that come with this?
