Hi,

I've been using the raspberry pi now fro some days. but DVD ISO in NRG-file does not play. I'm able todo exactly the same thing on the PC (windows). I naturally assumed the license, but even after buying and activating license it doesn't seem to work. I also tried going to nightly gotham, but that makes no difference.

Is this really a bug? Can't find anything on this forum about it so it could be configurations.

Are you saying that you can play this file on xbmc on windows?

I know, it's basically a DVD ISO. Don't know why I got it in Nero proprierty format.

Yup. Using exactly the same file, ftp://link, it works instantaneously.
I doublechecked my license and it claims to be active, also the log tells me (as you can see) it wants to use MPEG2.

If you can provide a sample file I could have a look, but there are no NRG files in my collection...

Provided details for NRG file download, but also extracted VOB files from image.The point are not the videos, but specifically the DVD menu's and interaction. As DLNA is not able todo this, the Raspberry PI was bought. Also I noitice that playing a VIDEO_TS as a DVD does not seem to work. As this is IMO very standard functionality, it must be configuration/setup on my side.
