found this latest Amlogic S802 M8 sw, pre rooted, XBMC Gotham 13 RC Preinstalled...seems many add ons now ok for install....can have a try on it

You know all Amlogic S802 M8 hardware is not the same You risk soft-bricking your device if you install the incorrect firmware. Partitions could be different and the device might be running EMMC vs NAND. There are numerous other differences that can also bite you.

Think the M8 stands for the hardware model by sztomato. Firmware should work on all M8 models produced by them ( EM8 - EnyTech , Acemax M8 etc. )
