I'm running the latest stable version of Ubuntu, 14. I upgraded from 13. When i do this:
sudo apt-get install python-software-properties pkg-config
sudo apt-get install software-properties-common
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc
as posted here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=HOW..._for_Linux
I get this:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
xbmc : Depends: xbmc-bin (< 2:13.0~git20140506.0839-gotham-0trusty.1~) but 3:12.2-1~trusty is to be installed
Recommends: libva-intel-vaapi-driver
