Which operation system is good for XBMC window 7,windows 8 or windows 8.1

Yup tried them all myself, but keep coming back to 7. XBMC acts the same in all, but 8 or 8.1 are just a pain in general.

Works great on 8. I use "oblytile" (freeware) to create a nice start tile shortcut. Also using 8MC as TV backend with pvr.wmc in XBMC for Live TV. I haven't gotten my MCE remote to work yet in XBMC but that has been a "back burner" project.
There have been some reports of problems if you want windows 8 to launch into XBMC directly, with sleep/hibernate, but I don't use that configuration so can't comment. I just launch XBMC when I want it from the start screen and exit XBMC when I'm done.

I create a shortcut button on my mediaremote so i can turn it on anytime i want.
