I created a launcher for xbmc, compressed with upx, some antivirus program may give a virus warning, but its not.

it got alot of nice function, lousy documentation but you will figure it out.

i run it on my Intel Nuc with latest Xbmc build, and it runs great. try it out and give some feedback, made adjustments and some new functions today, use this link to download

I'm okay with taking someone at their word about a false positive on virus scans (VMs are your friend), but in that case you probably want to add more details, like what it actually does. Otherwise it just looks even more fishy.

Lol, okay it´s compressed with upx and the only site it will connect to is Google.

Through the launcher you can run xbmc in boarderless window mode, or fullscreen

Create own launcher shortcuts, like your download folder

create video playlkists or play folders

create Music playlists with local or Google slideshow

Scale up or down to be able to read from distance.

and some more junk functions

Save executable in its own folder and create a shortcut to desktop bequase it creates
a few files and folders that you dont want on your desktop.

When i installed Gotham 13.1 and later nightly updates i noticed that my xbmc launcher didnt work, i made a few changes in xbmc launcher and now it works great

Added [Ctrl+F1] and [Ctrl+F2] functions to play with window position

If XBMC starts in full window mode, you can press [Ctrl+F2] to position it

added option to add single files to create an unique playlist, instead of playling folders.

on main page rignt click and select playlist.

Click on Select Media Directory button, scanning media starts (could take some time, first time), when done you can start typing to search results and add files to a playlist.

in playlist Creation mode:
dblklick songtitle to add
dblclick record to play
Ctrl+Dblclick to browse file or folder.
Right Click added list to Save

A few hours has been spent on json-rpc and webserver content

When Xbmc Webserver are running xbmc launcher will communicate through it.

with a load of functions, and more to come... if the bad weather keeps me Indoor.

When sending playlist through jsonrpc in XBMC Launcher, shuffle does not work!!! why you ask?

using "options" : "Shuffle" : true = Ok in json, but does not shuffle

using "options" : "Repeat" : "all" = Ok in json, and works

anyone out there with the knowledge on how to make this work?
