Difference Between ARM or X86

Hello, I have a Gbox MX2 and I wanted to install Gotham 13 but im unsure of which one to install. What is the difference between the two downloads its giving for android ARM or X86 and what one will I need?

Use the arm version only for your Amlogic box!!! the x86 is for intel cpus...

yes, it's an Amlogic MX dual core box ... also, you could easy install their (matricom) customized XBMC version via ota updater.

I also have a AT&T Note 2 1317 would i use the same one?

Thanks guys it looks like my Note 2 uses ARM also...

Processor:
Quad core, 1600 MHz, ARM Cortex-A9

Graphics processor:
ARM Mali-400 MP4 (Quad-Core)

i have the Edge S6 +, version 6.0.1 Marshmallow

this is the CPU: Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57

what i need to instal x86 or ARM?

ARM. Normally it will be ARM for most users. There are very few Android Intel/x86 devices, and it sounds like there will be even less in the future (Intel plans on halting future ATOM development).
