PVR EPG api?
#1
Is this data accessible through the python or the JSON-RPC API?

I see there is a section for getting the channels through the PVR section of the JSON-RPC API but I can't seem to find anything that let's you get the schedule details for each channel that's displayed in the EPG.

Am I missing something or is this currently not in the API's? If it is not is there anyway round it to access it directly from the EPG database that will work on all platforms regardless of individual settings etc?

Bump, surely someone knows this even if it means having to access the epg database without the api?

Here's the link to the JSON-RPC calls available in Frodo and Gotham.

It doesn't appear there is an option to do what you want.

In Gotham I'm pretty sure it's epg7.db (in the user data/Databases directory) is the database you'd want to query, but I don't think there is much documentation for it. If you want to access the db directly, you're probably going to have to figure out the database on your own.

Looks like it I might have to pop over to the PVR addon forums. I've no idea how the db's structure + location + access varies per platform if any.
