I'm running Gotham 13.1 on Amazon fire TV, it mostly works well but when I use XBMC as a launcher then when it first boots up I don't have options for TV shows or Movies on the home screen. It seems that XBMC tries to connect to mysql before wifi has finished connecting, if I go straight to settings I can see that the wifi isn't connected for the first few seconds after booting.
If I use a wired connection or boot into another launcher first the issue doesn't happen and if I restart xbmc after boot it works fine on the second run. Once everything is up and running XBMC is fantastic on this box so I'd like to iron out this last little kink.
I know that openelec on rasberryPI has an option to wait for network, e.g. this thread:

is it possible to achieve something similar on the android build? or to increase the timeout on mySQL somehow?
