Hi!!

In xbox xbmc, there is a option to soften the screen to avoid flickering on CRT TVs

I cant find any opotion like this in the windows build.. any hidden option or something?



Im not using the standar video output from my videocard, but a VGA>Scart addapter, then no chance to select antiflickering from video card driver

I don't go back as far as the X-Box builds, and not aware of the features built in on these older versions. Usually this type of thing is controlled by your graphic card (de-interlacing or flickerfixer etc) In the present stable release in the OSD of Gotham, you'll find de-interlacer options, which may work for you (just guessing as I don't have your set-up). It seems to help with older interlaced encodes for me.
