I been looking around everywhere on the net, there is no review or information about how XBMC work on the RK3288 devices.
I have therefore just ordered a box. I will provide me review her on how i find the performance.
(just for usercomers, i have tested Apple TV2, Android dual core Am logic, android dual core rockship, minix x7, fire tv, mx2 box) these are my 100USD boxes, and of all these, the FireTV is the best and most user friendly box and performance wise you might want to disable mediacodec for best experience, and use wired connection.
Apple TV2 is lacking alot and is really no good for all the power the new xbmc and plugins require.really dead slow.
The dual core android is really bad! the mx2, u have to work to finetune and test and update blblalbab.
Minix x7 is the best android device but does not out perform Fire TV (minix x8 is out, my friend got one and says there is improved performance).
The fire tv was soo good that i replaced my Asrock IOn 330 with my fire tv.
I have big expectation for this 3288 h265 hardware decode and fully supported DTS-HD sound.
If anyone have this box already, please provide your feedback on the performance and stability.
Thank you
