Win Automatic Scanning Every 24 hours
#1
I have a home network with multiple machines running Windows 7, XBMC/KODI latest release. All machines are using the same mysql database.
Once every day a scan is initiated without my doing so manually. I have a very large database.
My movies are separated in a movie folder with each movie in it's own folder.
My series are the same. Series name/season/files
It might be an addon that I have... Don't know.
I have reinstalled multiple times, reoccurring problem.
I'm kinda thinking that it was the old Mashup, but...
With such a big database it takes hours to reinstall / rescan...
any suggestions?

Edit:
I keep an eye on my logs... Never see anything unusual... If need be I will post a log...
here is the log:
http://www.idoxlr8.com/xbmc/xbmc_log.txt
here is the old log:
http://idoxlr8.com/xbmc/xbmc.old.txt

Edit:
Enabled debugging but did not get a debug log...
Moved clock on my pc up 24 hrs and restarted kodi, here is the new log after it scanned:
http://www.idoxlr8.com/xbmc/xbmc_log.txt

Ok soi I am currently unstalling all my xbmc/kodi files and starting fresh...
64000 thumbnails and info... crud...
Lets see how this goes...
I will post on this thread with a step by step...

New KODI Install
MySql Database
Local Lan

Steps:
1. PhpMyAdmin / Create new Database Named it xbmc, left it empty
2. Install latest version of KODI
3. Move my old settings file from backup to new KODI / userdata folder (it only has my database settings in it)
4. Open Kodi / video / series / edit source (tell it where to scrape)
5. after series are done... movies/ edit source... same as above
6. pictures / music / same as above...

To be continued...

Had the same issue myself a while back, ended up getting it resolved elsewhere as even after posting the logs the devs couldn't figure it out.

I got help (and a documented resolution) from a great bunch of helpful devs On another active board Wink
