I'm new to streaming TV, music and media and have a few questions but I'll start with hardware.

Can the Roku Stick, Roku 3 or Chromecast Stick be used to access / utilize Kodi (XBMC)?

none of these are an option.
If you thinking about sticks you might consider an Amazon Fire TV Stick. But there's debate about whether or not it's up to the job.
