So a little about me, I have an extensive collection of bluray and dvds ripped to my network storage (it is getting too big for the NAS I have). I currently have an amd pc hooked up to my tv to run xbmc (kodi), watch WWE network and netflix via the web and so on. I am planning on taking that PC and making it my network server with a series of mirror drives to store my movies, music, pictures and documents. In its place I would ultimately like an easy solution (wife friendly). I thought about an intel nuc or mac mini along with the keyboard I have currently (logitech k400) or going with the amazon fire tv (the box not the stick) since I can have apps on there of all the stuff we watch. My question with the fire tv is will it stutter when I play bluray rips across my network. I had the ouya previously and it definitely stuttered when it would play some blurays. Any help would be appreciated!
