Hi

I have an Apple TV 2 and was using the remote to advance through the settings. Somehow my Apple TV 2 got stuck in the Windowed Mode. I have tried everything to find the resolution setting to fix this. Maybe I can't see some settings because I am not in expert mode?? I have tried to find a solution and need some help.

Do you remember how exactly you got it into this state?

The only quick solution for you that i can think off is that you try to go into system->system->video and reset those to defaults (there is a button reset to default or something). If this doesn't help you have to delete the guisettings.xml file (which will then be regenerated with default values - this means you need to redo your settings afterwards)

if you use kodi then this will delete the settings file

rm /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/Kodi/userdata/guisettings.xml

if you use xbmc then this will delete the settings file

rm /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/guisettings.xml

Next time please include the needed information as mentioned in the sticky thread in this forum - this safes some time for us supporters and we don't need to write so much.
