Hi, please help, I'm clueless...
I previously use latest XBMC (latest before changing name to Kodi).
WASAPI works flawlessly.

Now I upgraded to Kodi 14 Helix, WASAPI broken, but DirectSound is ok.

Exclusive sound access tickmarks both have been ticked.

I did use AMD GPU, but not using HDMI, but RCA Coax from motherboard.
Do I still have to uninstall Realtek Codec?
Can AMT HD Audio output through onboard RCA coax?

Please post a screenshot of your Kodi audio settings and a debug log_file (wiki) of you playing something

Firstly that's not a debug log.
Secondly we need the whole log copied to somewhere like pastebin.

the problem is that your audio device reports a format (S32) and actually does not support it.

Wow really thanks for the quick support.

Kodi have my full recognition as the best music player I ever heard, and I have tried a lot.
My friends with $10000++ stereo setup also use Kodi/xbmc, and ditching foobar2k...
Kodi 14 is also improved a lot from previous version (xbmc) in sound department.

If you want to try one of the 14.1 test builds see this thread http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=213108 to confirm it's fixed.

Not sure on the ETA for the official release as I believe we're still waiting on a fix for crash problem some people have been experiencing with 14.0

I have tested it, Kodi 14.1 test builds WASAPI works for me.
So far, no other problem on 14.1 test builds.
