Hello i am trying to connect my seedbox to kodi using this guide - https://whatbox.ca/wiki/Streaming_Audio_and_Video. I have tried http/https/ftp/sftp and none of them can connect in kodi but i am able to connect to all of these protocols using my browser and filezilla. I am using windows 8 64-bit and have tried it on another brand new laptop with the same setup. I have asked whatbox support for help but they were unable to find a solution so i figured i would test my luck here.

Have you checked your Win8 firewall to allow Kodi to be allowed to connect to public networks?
