am using the jan 12th build of 14.1 and the refresh rate is doing strange things on MKV play back it sets the correct refresh rate and TV reports it as 24hz then from 30 seconds - 5 mins it pauses and sets the refresh rate to 60hz

i think this log captures everything from start of playback

FYI - Mac Mini, HD4000 running windows 8.1 and Denon aver-2113.

Have you made at bug report on trac ?

I have that problem too. Running Windows 8.1 and a hd6450 with kodi 14.1 testing version from 12 January.

Check your Video Playback settings. I keep my Sync Display To Video = Off, but after installing one of the latest Helix builds it somehow changed to On Start/Stop

Not really the point.... This would only be as a temporary solution.
If we disable Sync to display, we don't get the correct refresh rate that the source material was intended to be displayed at.

Issue solved in latest nightlies. I just tried KodiSetup-20150213-1f521fb-master and the issue is fixed.
