Hi,
I have followed the guides and have added kodi to my mythtv box and the kodi-pvr-mythtv but have connections problems as below:

I have set the pin on my backend and have the default ports 6543 and 6544.
I can connect my browser to my mythtv box on port 6544 and get the various statuses.
My mythtv backend and frontend are on the same server and have no issues there.
I have tried using 127.0.0.1 and the actual IP address.

Any help in how I can debug this issue?
mythtv 0.28 and mythtv pvr client is 1.11.2

I believe mythtv 0.28 has a protocol change that requires version 1.12 of the PVR client. See the current last couple of pages of the pvr.mythtv thread: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=198833

I thought I was using thew newer plugin. I guess I have read a number of sources recently and got confused with the similarities in name and installed the wrong plugin.
