Since kodi was released, I have had a video issue, the internal player does not seem to buffer correctly, and I have been unable to fix it, about every 30 seconds or so, the video pauses for a split second, then catches up, its not a processing issue (I have a 6 core I7) memory (64 Gigs) video card (GTX660) or hard drive read issue (reading ISO files from 4TB WD Enterprise 6GB/sec drives), playback is perfect from any other player in windows including windows default player and VLC, it only happens with Kodi default player, I have tried updating to latest fix, and tried changing video sync, scaling, and any other settings I could find in playback to no avail.... Please help! its either a buffer setting i need to find somewhere, or I need to be able to set an external player... I'm not a programmer, but savy enough to figure it out with direction.
