I'm using mythtv as my backend and kodi as my frontend. Everything is working great except I'm not receiving any fanart for live tv recordings. I have mythtv configured to download metadata but it never shows up into kodi. Is kodi supposed to pull the fanart that mythtv pulls or does it search for it on it's own?

I don't know why it mythtv would get metadata for livetv recordings. Those are just temp recordings that are deleted after a day or so.

As long as they show up on your actual recordings...I would say it would it is working properly
