I have searched this forum pretty extensively and hope I am not missing something obvious.
Are there plans in motion for adding to the tagging functionality?
Specifically, I think it would be extremely useful to be able to add a movie to a tag directly from a list or from the player.
We are now using this addon, which does this _exactly_ right IMHO:

....but it seems abandoned and does not work with Kodi 15b at all.
It's basic functionality is still perfect as an example of what I am asking for in Kodi 14 for the main thing: adding items to tags from the lists and players.
