I've spent a lot of time over the past few days working out all the bugs and working through most of the gotchas to create this PHP library for use on a Synology NAS. Technically, it could be adapted to run on any server with PHP installed.

It's my first contribution to the community and I hope it helps others out! I also look forward to hearing people's comments and suggestions for improvements in the future.

The HDHR Assistant is a PHP library designed to run on your Synology NAS to provide channel and an Electronic Programming Guide (EPG) for use in the IPTV Simple Client PVR add-on for Kodi.

Advantages

• Use Kodi's built-in Live TV interface, include Radio Stations
  
• No need to launch any third-party applications
  
• More control over how your channels display
  
• Extensive EPG information
  

Disadvantages

• You cannot record or pause live TV
  
• Not as easy as just downloading and using the HDHomeRun VIEW application or Kodi add-on
  

Requirements

• Synology NAS with PHP web server enabled
  
• HDHomeRun device on your local network
  
• Kodi 15+
  
• IPTV Simple Client PVR add-on
  
• Perl (To run the Zap2XML script, provided in this repository)
