Hi guys,

since i updated my android tv box to version 15.0, and then 15.1 and 15.2, the HD videos I play in Kodi don't run smoothly. It's not a internet connection problem, as I run HD videos perfectly in my laptop.

Videos in 720p format run badly, but 1080p run like they are being played in slow motion.

In version 14.2 everything runs perfectly. Does this problem have any solution?

My box is a generic chinese box Amlogic S805 with Android 4.4.

It's falling back on software decoding, instead of using hardware decoding. I'm not sure why mediacodec failed, too, but that's what it says in the log.

Perhaps your file has an encoding error? What does mediainfo say about it?

Problem solved with a downgrade to version 14.2.
